He was telling his friend how he appreciates all my attention, affection, and random gestures such as buying him lunch sometimes, but he’ll never see me in a romantic way because I’m “too fat for his taste.” I was basically used the entire time. FML
Today, I finally had the guts to tell my best friend that I like him more than just as a friend. I was about to tell him when he excitedly told me that he met the love of his life yesterday. FML

FYL. Not all guys want skinny or slender women, but your friend sure acted like a giant asshole about it. Clearly he's not great at tact or empathy. But you'll find a guy who actually respects you and cares for you for more than just your looks.
