Today, I came out to my parents. I don't really fit any stereotype, I'm just an average guy who happens to be into guys. Ten minutes later, I overheard my mother say to my step-dad, "Should we redecorate his room pink?" FML

When I told my mom I was a lesbian, she asked if I was gonna stop shaving my legs and armpits.. Some parents don't get that it doesn't mean we're changing, the only thing different is now they know our sexual preference!

That is just wonderful and funny but it takes time for them to adjust. I'm 16 abs came out when I was 13 to my grandma and she still is trying to accept it but my mom for some reason knew b4 I knew
