Today, my man got arrested for starting a fistfight with a cashier who wouldn't let him smuggle out groceries without paying. It gets worse; two weeks ago he got arrested mugging a guy at a gas station, and he's still on bail. FML

No sweat. Blessing in disguise! You clearly bailed him out because you're a loving woman and maybe knew you were all he had to rely on. Don't get carried away and forget that you need to get rid of your compassion for him, though. The opportunity for something like this to happen, revealing this man for what he really is doesn't present itself often in life... Be happy you didn't spend many more years to come with him, fooled by the veil! Good luck

Uhh...why? My ex just called me to bail him out of jail...and I just laughed. You don't have any obligation to bail him out. He messed up...he can figure out a way to get out that doesn't involve you.
