Today, I asked my boss for a raise. I pointed out that due to a technicality, if he hired someone to replace me, he'd have to pay them more anyway. He said he'd gladly pay more for "someone who knows his goddamn place" and made it clear I'll be jobless very soon. FML

if there was a drugtest you failed then there would be evidence, which he doesn't have (unless you did fail a drug test). Take this case to the head of the company, and make sure the place who offered you a job knows what happened. It'll sort itself out

It's a pretty bad thing but you can easily fix it. The other shop could drug test you themselves or you could look for legal action against the shop that fired you

I can't even begin to tell you how many laws he broke. Get in touch with the state of new york labor board. Also, his claim that you failed a drug test, if false, is a lawsuit you can win. Slander
