And all the people who "don't get this"; The OP has been drinking her mother's vodka without her knowing, and put water into the vodka bottle so their mother won't notice someone's drank from the bottle. Now the vodka has so much water mixed in it that the alcohol level of the liquor isn't as high as it should be and it doesn't taste "right" anymore. That is why OP's mother will realize that her underaged child has been drinking from the bottle.

try the shit sandwich approach first off tell her 1. "hey mom looks like you have been losing weight", then tell her 2. "mom I drank all your booze", then finish the sandwich off with 3.
