Today, my boyfriend gave me a teddy bear. I thought it was a sweet thing to do, until I saw him open a slit in its back while visiting later in the day and removing a bag of weed. He gave me a teddy bear just so he could smuggle drugs past my parents. FML

You can still be addicted to using pot and getting high, which I believe is a habitual addiction.

Also due to weed being stronger now than it used to be, you can become addicted to the higher levels of THC, apparently.

You can get addicted, it's a drug and there are withdrawal symptoms. I'd be a little weary driving around with him OP. If he get's stopped with it on him that could definitely be a problem. Lots of people tend to forget it's on them or don't see it as a problem especially in most places still illegal.

Marijuana is not physically addictive, meaning there are little to no withdrawal symptoms. It is, however, psychologically addictive, much like video games, sex, etc. THC is not addictive, though.
