Today, my boyfriend of three years proposed to me. He brought me to our favorite restaurant and ordered expensive champagne. It was all very romantic, until he got on one knee and I farted out of surprise. Loudly. FML

Today, at a restaurant, I happily watched as my boyfriend of three years got down on his knees and proposed to me. Before I could say yes and hug him, a girl flung herself at him, kissed him and shouted, "Yes!" With us still highly confused, she then ran away. FML
Today, I was on a date with my boyfriend when he suddenly got down on one knee and proposed. A waiter tripped over him and spilled our food all over him. FML
Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years. I got reservations for a romantic dinner, and at the end, fireworks would spell out my proposal. The whole thing had taken weeks to plan out and had cost me a lot of money. She proposed to me at a subway station first. FML
Today, I decided to pop the question to my beloved. Perfect lighting, fresh cut roses, a fancy dinner. The restaurant was in on it too. Shame they brought out the wedding-themed congratulations dessert before I actually went down on my knee. FML
Today, my boyfriend came over for the first time and we were alone. He was being super romantic and snuggling with me, and then out of nowhere he let out the biggest fart I've ever heard. He then explained how I should try to compete with it. FML

This has to be one of the most hilarious things I ever read. I'd imagine that it must have been embarrassing, but perhaps no one else heard it? But I mean this could be good. I mean if he heard it, and haven't busted you on it, then it's good because he accepted you for who you are, so you should be glad about that.

I agree with the other people, everybody farts..... and yes..... i've farted before....... :L but if i had a choice not to, i think id choose that. cuz truthfully, nobody really wants to fart/is proud of farting, and anybody who wants to/is proud of farting is just gross. even if it is a human natural thing, it's still pretty gross. ugh. lol. anyways, op u getting married? lol. faol (**** all our lives) ;P
