Meat is murder

Today, I went on my first date with a girl I have been infatuated with for months. At the restaurant, the waiter came while she was in the bathroom. I ordered steaks for both of us. Turns out, she is vegetarian, and doesn't like it when men are "overly aggressive." She called me a cow murderer. FML

Never order for a girl. It just gives the impression that we think we know better. As for vegeterianism. It does a lot less for the animals than they think. A cow that isn't gonna get eaten doesn't just get set free into the wild. It get's killed to save costs.

The less meat that is being consumed, the less meat that will be raised for slaughter. It's called supply and demand. Do you think they raise the same amount of cattle, regardless of how much is selling?

Sorry, but YDI. If you hadn't asked her prior to her going to the bathroom what she would want if the waiter came while she was in there, you should've asked the water to come back in 2 minutes or so, when she'd be back.

i'm a dude, and if you ordered food for me, i would probably destroy your face, and make you pay for it anyway. the same works with chicks, and at a greater level. i would say to just let her order what she wants, and you pay for it if you so choose (which would be ideal, as it is your first date). she'd probably appreciate it. |the kid|
