I think it's cool

Today, after months of planning, I finally got my first tattoo: my cat's paw print. I love it so I showed my friends pictures. One said it looks like poop and the other said it looks like I have a disease. FML

Since we don't know what it looks like I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt assume it looks fine. So in that case don't give a **** what they think. It holds a special meaning for you and as long as you love it everyone else's opinion about it means Jack shit.

I feel your pain. I have a tattoo that means a lot to me. It's a drawing that my BF made for me many years ago. It's his version of kind of an abstract/surrealist heart. My aunt insists on telling me it looks like a uterus and fallopian tubes every time she sees it. It hurts. You've said it a dozen times, now STFU!

I mean, after months of planning, was the preliminary sketch even shown to your friends? I'd have hoped they would have told you then before it became permanent! Unless your artist didn't do a good job.

Give it a few weeks to heal. If it still looks like turd, find a different artist to fix.

Advice for future tattoos and anyone looking to get one: never care what others think about your tattoo. You got it for you because it means something to you. Not them.

Let me see a pic of the tat. I’ll be the judge.
