Today, after a broken smoke detector in my home caused the fire department to come, I got an angry visit from my neighbor who was upset because she had parked in front of a fire hydrant and got a ticket. She demands that I pay it, "or else." FML

We've been forced to break the windows of cars and stretch our 5in supply hose through the car. Most Engine's only have a small booster tank and rely on hydrants to be supplied with water. Please nobody park in front of our lifelines.

I would contact your landlord and the sheriff/police(but not through 911) and i would also get a security cameras with a DVR in case of "or else

Oh, you know what, that's bullshit. It's her own damn fault. Who parks in front of fire hydrants?? My 8 yr old cousin knows not to do that, so she should too.

How do you know? "Or else" could mean "or I will do my best to make your life hell as long as I live near you". You can't be sure she won't follow through.
