Today, someone burgled my hotel room. As always, I had locked my passport, extra cash, and other valuables in the closet safe, so I thought the losses would be superficial. What a discovery that the safe hadn't been fastened to the closet shelf, so the thief just picked it up and took it home. FML

I never noticed that. Better be more careful next time OP Maybe next time you go to a hotel you can fill the safe up with rocks and bring your valuables with you. You know, just in case :P

These things should always be on you and never locked away in the hotel room. At least the cash and passport should be.

The safe isn't supposed to move. Next time I'd make sure it isn't moveable.

i got a safe in my room and it moves! I just moved it to clean behind it! So i dont know what your talking about

Yes but usually safes are bolted to the floor or wall to ensure that someone can just steal the entire safe

cheap safes if you just drill through the lock you can open it, fairly easily all you need is a drill and a metal drill bit

Don't listen to these people. Anti-flood protection is there to keep you safe in case your house floods. The app transforms your phone/iPod into a life raft, complete with provisions, emergency poncho, flashlight, flare gun, etc. This is just another example of the friendly FML mods thinking about YOU and keeping you safe!
