Today, I was having lunch and I started throwing crumbs at my friend at the other table. Then I accidentally hit the kid next to him. He got really mad and came over and hit me in the shoulder with a brick. A brick. He just had a brick in his bag. FML

At least it wasn't something even more life threatening. Though, yeah, that's odd of him to be carrying a brick around in his bag. Either way, who gets mad enough to get physical over being hit with food crumbs? FYL, OP. That kid overreacted.

Like whether OP was stoned during the incident?

Op never got pelted with stones. He got hit with a brick.

I'm sure OP was mortar-fied by the incident :)

#8: You're interpreting the version of stoned that isn't what they meant.

I'm pretty sure they know that and we're trying to be funny.

It was a play on words. I obviously realised what he meant. It was a joke.

Just be thankful he didn't have the kitchen sink.

Do you really want to go? Do you?! *Holds up random brick meanicingly*

I may not have one in my bag at all times but I do in fact threaten people with bricks

This reminds me of Dewey from malcom in the middle. Getting hit with a backpack with a brick in it hurts, so I've seen.

Im always threatening bricks with people

The brick kid totally overreacted, but OP was being incredibly immature. Even if it was just crumbs, I'd be pretty pissed if some jackass were throwing food at his friend and hit me. Of course, I'm an adult and I use words, not bricks, to solve my problems.

Good point, "sticks and stones may break my bones but words leave emotional scars that never heal."

I know how the kid feels, I was once hit with a flying piece of apple. But I didn't beat anyone with a brick though, I just threw it back. Kid, stop attacking people with bricks. OP, stop throwing food around.

Because bricks totally aren't deadly when you hit someone with them. /sarcasm

plus, my bag is heavy enough without adding a brick!

Call me crazy but I feel the kid OP accidentally hit, probably is bullied and the crumbs were the straw that broke the camels back. Still, psycho kid should have been suspended for assault imo.

Sadly it happens. A 9th grader threw paper airplanes around the classroom, annoying a 10th grader and when class ended the 10th grader who was very good at boxing, punched the 9th grader once. He hit the wall and was announced brain dead few days later. I'm really really glad to read that OP is alive. Of course the 10th grader didn't mean for him to die but you never know what's going to happen and must face the consequences.

Hillbilly version brick-paper-scissors ?

I usually think of hardware failure when I think of bricking, but this dude took it a bit too literally.

how do they allow this to get on this site????

just post youre FML in here like you did in the other FML... and we will downvote you

What's the differnce between a brick and a ginger? The brick eventually gets laid.

wow #12 being offensive to red heads there.
