Today, it was my first day at work as a waitress. The day ended with me owing my employers money, after I accidentally smashed an expensive bottle of wine on the floor. FML
Today, I was doing my first shift waitressing in a café. Not an hour in, I'd already spilt tea over somebody and dropped two whole meals. Looks like this won't last much longer. FML
Today, it was my first day at a new job as a waitress for a wedding function centre. As I was opening the door to collect dirty plates from the guests, I bumped into a colleague carrying a tray full of full champagne glasses, all of which fell and smashed on the floor. FML
Today, at my new job waitressing, I walked into a glass door at full speed while carrying a tray of drinks. Not only did I spill everything, but I also left a weird make up face print on the glass for everyone to laugh at. FML
Today, I had my first shift as a server at a restaurant after getting stuck behind an accident and arriving late, apologizing profusely. Apparently no one knew I'd been hired but I was still yelled at for tardiness. They then made me clean a fridge for 4 hours and paid me in pizza. FML
Today, was my first day at my new job in a shop. 10 minutes after my first customer leaves I realize she managed to steal $200 worth of merchandise while she had me getting stuff for her from the back room. FML
Today, it was my first day at work. They had me a large tray with lots of food on it, even after I told them I wasn’t comfortable carrying it. I hit the door on the way out of the kitchen, spilling everything on the tray, breaking two soup bowls and three salad plates. FML
Today, I was called into my first day of work as a cashier. Not even 30 minutes into training, my boss had already "accidentally" touched my ass 7 times. FML
Today, it was my first day as a server at Olive Garden and a customer walked out without paying. It was the new manager's first day too, and he decided to write me up. FML
Today, I was feeling sick but went into my waitressing job because I'd already missed 3 days this week. I was dizzy and managed to spill a tray of drinks all over the customers. Then, when their food was done, I tripped and spilled hot chili all over the man's lap. FML

#86 it's a waitering job, its not a situation where you can sue, i've worked as a cashier in a fast food restaurant over the summer, we get treated like crap by so called know-it-all customers, its sucks but we cant sue, it's part of the job.

Sorry to stalk your profile, but it says you are 15, OP. Where do you work that hires 15 year olds as waitresses? I know that in massachusetts, it's illegal to hire someone unless they are 16, and only newspapers can hire 14 y/o's to deliver. I know it might be different in other states, but like, wtf?

Sexual harassment is not a part of any job and you don't have to take it. Your boss has to, by law, provide a safe work environment. At will or not, I'm sure. If you have proof that he/she is not providing a safe environment and allowing harassment to happen, they can get in a lot of trouble.

I live in Florida. Family owned restaurants (as far as I know) have lower ages than most. Our grocery store hires 14 year olds.
