That's DISGUSTING OP, learn to clean! Who wouldn't notice RATS in their car? Isn't there a smell?
rats are actually very clean, the food op had to leave on the car floor for rats to live there would of probably covered the smell of feces :/
Exactly^^^^^I bet the car itself is very nasty.
it probably was dirty but op probably cleans the visible part of his car more often than under the seats
Yuck? That just proves that you don't clean your car enough.
He said, "rats" not "gerbils" but oh well, to each his own.

1st: move the rats or if you want to kill them just because they happen to be in your car take the unnecessary extermination approach which I do not agree with 2nd: learn diy or splash some cash to get the hole covered 3rd: remove all the food that made it possible for life to be sustained that long
I'd light a bunch of incense sticks and smoke them out. at least after you protect anything electronic in the car that can be ruined by smoke. it should work since it'll smell smoky to the rats and it'll make it harder for them to breathe while in your car.
good idea :3 rats are very wary with new tastes and smells so they might find a new area
that requires domestication but technically could work :) would save them from being exterminated
lol

WTF in your car how is that possible?
I had a family of orangutans living I my car. How did I find out? I noticed the rear window was missing.
