I'm not sure if this is similar, I don't exactly watch the news, but in some MA cities, there was recently something wrong with the water. Connecticut isn't exactly far from those cities, so who knows? And people saying "pasta for breakfast" I've eaten pasta for breakfast before. It's good. :D

@ Jaque - it might not be ecoli, but there is something in the water in the MA/CT shoreline area and they are recommending that you do not eat or drink water from a tap without boiling it.

Even if there is something in the water, the pasta water would be boiled so I don't think that should be part of the FML. The drinking 3 glasses and tooth brushing belongs. The shower, I will accept. The pasta is just silly.

Pasta is good for breakfast, Start your day with off with good carbs, unlike doughnuts or sugary cereals.

Not all E. coli outbreaks are national. Also, it's not an outbreak unless someone gets it. A boil water order is issued when a test shows that E. coli is present, not when someone gets sick.

Anyway, it is necessary to boil water before drinking. Like, always. It is safe and smart.
