Today, while working at a fine-dining restaurant, I was dicing veggies. I was paying such close attention to make sure the veggies were all the same size, that I managed to cut off the tip of my thumb. FML

Well, obviously you now have to cut the exact size piece off the other thumb.

Oh sweet. I've been looking for Cannibal Cuisine.

Safety is the number one priority. Always remember; it doesn't matter if they're all the same size. Be safer and pay more attention next time. That said, I hope you're okay.

I read this with the Crazy Russian Hacker's voice and accent.

That's why you curl all your fingers so that the blade doesn't have a chance to contact your fingers.

The blade should always be in contact with your curled fingers so that it doesnt cut you but sometimes you loose track of a finger and shit happens

Just remember, people's stomach acids will dissolve all the veggies into same-sized mush in the end.

You should even out the other thumb hahaha

It's probably good protein, don't sweat it. Imagine the look on the customer's face if they found a thumb in their side of veggies. Seriously though, how would you explain that one to the manager? FYL, OP, hope things heal up quickly

was the part you cut off the same size as the veggies? ;)

How do you pay close attention and accidentally cut off a part of your thumb?

Sometimes fingers slip

They were paying attention to the veggies instead of their thumb
