Today, I was teaching and a boy sitting in front kept laughing and smiling, even after I asked him to cut it out. I got so annoyed that I jokingly said I'd knock his teeth out, and asked him to leave the class. The kid went to the principal and told him I intended to hurt him. I'm a college professor. FML

Today, a coworker at school yelled at one of our students to be quiet. The kid got pretty upset, so I went to comfort him. He held my hand for the rest of the class, telling me in vivid detail how he was going to kill my coworker. Now I'm afraid to look at him. FML

Today, I was working as an intern at a day care. One of the kids touched my chest a couple of times, and I jokingly told him that he shouldn't touch old and ugly women like me. So he started groping the little girls instead. When the other teachers asked him why, he said I had told him to. FML

Today, while in class, my friend would not stop annoying me by tapping me on the shoulder every so often. After the fifth time, I lost my patience, told him to F off, and slapped his hand. Only it wasn't my friend tapping my shoulder this time, it was my teacher. FML

If this student is young, what has been happening @ home to him? I would say every female he encounters is unsafe @ this point. FYL for the situation but your a teacher for a reason you put the needs of students first. Kid needs help & not in the sexual way, GOOD LUCK!

You can't possibly be a teacher. "Whence" refers to location and not to time (and actually indicates not just the current location but a movement away from it to somewhere new).

Because all teachers are educated in the same areas or all have excellent grammar... Come on now, she could be a geography or art teacher in stead of an english teacher for all you know.
