Today, one of my closest friends informed me that she wasn't going to invite me to her wedding, because I'm too shy and not enough fun, and she doesn't want her 200 or so guests to feel uncomfortable. I was the one who set the happy couple up. FML

I know it hurts, but I wouldn't go even if she change her mind. She obviously doesn't consider you as close a friend, as you do her.

This ungrateful friend doesn't deserve to have you at the wedding.

I have a friend like that and well all i have to say is go find your true friends and leave her in the dust!

Probably best if you don't go. I know it must be embarrassing. I'm sorry, just soldier through it and know that you made 2 people very happy with each other c:

I'm gonna go ahead and tell you to do the exact opposite as everyone else. You go, and you make a scene. Throw the biggest adult tantrum, the likes of which have never been seen! Like, throw an egg at her. Steal the show.

LOL! That's such terrible advice, but the picture in my head has me cracking up.

Bummer deal OP. just crash the wedding with a clever disguise!

Jeez, someone's selfish.. That really sucks OP! fyl

I always find the bitchier and wound up the person the more fun the wedding will be. When I shake things up that is. Can you say RAMPAGING PSYCHO BRIDEZILLA ON THE LOOSE? I knew you could.

Wow that's actually very hurtful. Maybe you should try talking to her about how you feel about it? On the other hand you could now always go and play Cupid with people :]

I was going to say the same thing

OP should go to the wedding with a date and make out loudly and obnoxiously the whole time. That'll show her!

Crash it while super wasted and just let yourself go wild!

Go drink a couple of energy drinks and pound a bottle of alcohol. Shyness gone! And something fun is bound to happen

Definetly agree with you! It doesn't sound like a great wedding anyway. Cut her out of your life and do something epic that day!

You do realize she can die from that advice !

Yeah, no I was just poking fun. It's a pretty valid point.

not such a great friend if you ask me !!

Some people lose their minds when it comes to getting married. It sucks but you know where you rate with them, OP

I think it's time to get a new friend. Or at least remind her of the reason she getting married in the first place.
