Today, my husband went in for surgery and handed me an important document. It wasn't a will or anything similar, but a list of items and gold he wanted passed on to guild members on World of Warcraft. FML

There's really nothing wrong with wow, as long as you don't spend 24/7 playing it (like my dad) but to all those people who are being so incredibly rude about it you guys are the ones that need to grow up an get a life... OP I hope the surgery goes good and your husband recovers well :)

It's true that there is nothing with playing games as long as u don't let it interference with your personal life too much. But the situation here is that he went into a surgery and all he thought about was the game... How would you feel if you were his wife? She must felt that the game is more important than her. And this is the part he did wrong and needs to improve on if he wants his marriage to survive

I'd do the same. The friends you make on wow can be almost, sometimes even moreso, closer than friends you see occasionally in real life. People who don't play mmo's really don't understand that. Sucks you have no respect for your husbands friends.
