Today, my high school guidance counselor tried to convince me NOT to go to college, mainly because it's been so long since someone from my high school went to college, that she got rid of all the college information she used to have. FML

Don't listen to her. Do what you want to do. Not what others tell you do.

Seriously? Almost sounds like a rural Midwest school district. But you should still pursue college.

Can you really take advice from someone who is terrible at the easiest job in the world? Go to college, the Internet has more information than a competent guidance counselor can give anyway. In fact, I bet some good counselors provide info online.

No wonder Americans are so damn behind on everyone, if you got teachers like that...

it says he is from canada. but you're fairly correct about our education system lacking.

You guys need to chill with the spelling stuff. I should hope college isn't just learning how to spell. Fact of the matter is, Albert Einstein didn't know how many feet were in a mile, because he just didn't care. It wasn't important to him. He was too busy solving bigger issues.

Tell the principal immediately and of that doesn't work, the school board.

just tell them to do their job and get what you need and this is probably fake b/c counselors are not that stupid unless this was home schooling

Do you go to some Canadian hillbilly school?!
