Today, my girlfriend told me she lost her phone and not to call or text her. After about three hours, I text her phone, asking if she found it yet. I got a reply, saying "Nope." FML
Today, I rang my girlfriend to make sure she made it home alright. She told me to check my Facebook. Nothing was different so I hit refresh. We were no longer in a relationship. I got dumped via Facebook whilst on the phone to her. FML
Today, I bought my girlfriend an iPhone. I preloaded it with a bunch of cool apps and stuff and spent a lot and money. She used it to send a text to me 3 hours later saying that she thought we should break up. FML
Today, I asked a girl I liked for her number, but she claimed she had a broken phone and was getting a new one for Christmas. Unhinged, I go home and go onto Facebook. First thing I see is her status: "Why is no one answering my calls?" FML
Today, My girlfriend and I were watching tv when suddenly one of our phones start going off. We both have the same phone and they were next to each other. She picks up the phone and reads the text message, "I wish you were here! I'd fuck you silly" She gets pissed and runs out. It was her phone. FML
Today, my girlfriend decided to break up with me over Facebook. Unfortunately, she "accidentally" posted it on my wall instead of sending me a message, so the whole world could see it. My mom liked her post. FML
Today, I got a text from a woman containing many naked pictures of her. Apparently she meant to send those to her boyfriend whose number is one digit from mine. The bad part? My girlfriend was using my phone when I received that message. FML
Today, my phone died while I was on the phone with my girlfriend. When I finally got a charger, I saw a text message from her. I'm now single. FML
Today, my girlfriend thought it would be funny to go to the Apple store and log me on to Facebook on every single computer. FML
Today, while at church, I received a text from my girlfriend, saying, "It's not working. We're over." Not only was my phone not on silent mode, I was sitting directly beside my now ex-girlfriend. FML

it could of been sent from someone elses phone. you can log into facebook from anyones phone.

She could of posted it from her IPod. If you do post something to facebook it says from iPhone even though it is an iPod.

Am I the only one wondering how she knew he was calling/texting her if she lost her phone? I think that is the /dead/ give away that it was posted from her phone. I'm sure if she had an iPod touch that he would know.

Uh no? How is it a dead give away?! When I lost my phone, I told everyone to stop texting me on it. She could have just told her boyfriend to stop texting that phone, so that he doesn't get all paranoid when he doesn't get replies...

Yes, but the way the story is worded, gives me a different impression. Saying "stop texting/calling me" is implying that OPs girlfriend knew he was. As opposed to saying "Hey, don't call/text me, because I lost my phone." If you can't see the difference, cool. However, I choose to interpret it in such a way that makes sense to myself.

I have to agree with Anna. The reason it's on FML is because it's a bad thing: The OP's girlfriend lied. The way it's worded says she's received all his text messages and calls. In my opinion, if you just don't want to talk to someone/anyone for a bit, just say so. Don't lie.

well, I agree with you guys, but, fml changes words and such when they edit these, so it 'could' have said it different than what it shows.

Yes they could have edited it, but I have a hard time believing it, since the part you mentioned they might have edited is what makes it an FML in the first place. The reason it is here is because she worded a specific way, not what it "might have been".

Yeah, I thought that too. also if posting from somebody else's iPhone/iPod touch I usually use Facebook mobile as people don't want to log out of their Facebook app. I'm assuming the same would happen with OP's GF's friends. She's clearly busted.
