Today, my girlfriend of 2 months found out she was 4 months pregnant with her ex's baby. She told me I could leave her and she wouldn't blame me, but I decided to stay with her. She told me she loved me and then dumped me because she needed to be with her baby's daddy. FML

Hey, at least you don't have to take care of a kid that's not yours! Also, how does she suddenly find out she's 4 months pregnant? She would've missed her period 4 months ago!

well, good news is, if she really didn't find out until 4 months that she's preggo, then she's probably gonna have a miscarriage. after the mourning of her lost child, life will be back to normal! baby's daddy outta the picture

You're an idiot. The chance of miscarriage drops significantly after the first trimester. If she didn't miscarry in the first three months, she's far less likely to now.

At least it was a short relationship and you didn't have a lot of time to get too attached... Oh, and... it's easy to go months without noticing you're pregnant. Some women will miss a period or 2 sometimes. Mine are VERY irregular. Also, certain methods of birth control, will keep you from even getting a period at all, or even just a few per year. Birth control has been known to fail. When I found out I was pregnant, I was only 4 weeks. I just... knew. However, every month I'd THINK I was pregnant, because we were trying for 2 years... so it was always wishful thinking. I spent a LOT of money on pregnancy tests... every like... 3 months or so, usually when I'd miss a period, which was due to my irregular cycle and not being pregnant. But, I had a different feeling back in November when I got THREE positive results. I LOVE the digital ones that pick it up early, so you don't have to sit and wonder forever lol.

no that shit really happens before I got w my now ex boyfriend his ex girlfriend cheated on him n got pregnant and like a total dumbest he stayed w her n supported her n the kid for 2 yrs until she dumped him for someone else but he's still stupid bc he still takes care of her kid..... which I'm sure makes u think I'm stupid but he was a nice guy but I eventually got tired of that situation so I left him

OP, honestly, if you're willing to stay with her for this after 2 months, you have issues. Probably dependency issues, that is. My friend might be in your position some day, he hates me 'cause I tried to keep him and his on-and-off girlfriend broken up because I didn't want him to keep threatening suicide every time she tried to break up with him. :/. And, he needs more independence. James
