This would make too much sense and like #43 said it sounds like an excuse to dump you. First thing I did when I found out my wife had never seen Star Wars was sit her down on one of our days off and watch all 6 movies together. It was a great bonding experience.

I wouldn't call it a big deal. My husband never had the chance to watch it either and I loved him immensely anyway. It is a very good movie - one of the best in the Disney library. Catchy music and one of the strongest stories with the saddest death in Disney movie history, it's one of those films a lot of people go on about. It's probably right up there with anything overrated, but it's a great movie anyway. TL:DR, if you like Disney movies at all, it's recommended you check it out. It's worth it.

Don't let that get you down. You can watch Lion King anytime. It's not life-changing, and you can definitely find somebody less insane. I didn't see Jaws till last March, so I can relate. That being said, that was a very poor excuse to dump someone, and you deserve better.

Even though The Lion King is one of my all time favorite movies that's just a shitty thing to do to a guy. I mean I wouldn't break up with a guy over something so trivial. She was probably looking for a reason to break up.
