Today, my friend decided to come clean to his parents about his pot usage. He told them that he did it with me on many occasions. His parents decided it would be the right thing to call my parents. Thanks a lot asshole. FML

"I broke the rules and got caught waaaah FML!!" Seriously, grow up. Regardless of your views on marijuana, if you are young enough that your parents knowing is an issue, YDI for disrespecting them.

Thats why i have a 3.5 and on the baseball team right? As well as a number of my friends. Think before you start throwin out stereotypes.

Oh and your friends an asshole for doing that. First time I smoke someone too me "if you think your getting caught , deny it. If you HAVE been caught, deny it was with any of us. ". And that's the way to do itt.

ydi i hope ur parents get u help 48 im 16 the most popular kid in school heart throoob and been on tv alot no matter what weed is bad i agree with 47

OMG i'm a preppy little kid that thinks being the most popular kid in school matters LOL haha

you can just tell that number 53 is a nerdy little kid with no real friends.

oh cool I am on TV and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO popular hahah, for saying that you are not! FYL

Nobody who still lives at home with their parents should smoke pot as it generally means your too young to be doing so. But for all you haters out there who say YDI for smoking weed STFU. Almost every person has at some point of their childhood/teens has had a drink of booze or smoked a cigarette behind their parents backs. It's no worse than that. In fact smoking those cigarette's are probably worse for you with all the chemicals that are in them, and doesn't have the hangover that drinking will give. Oh and those supposed mental issues that are associated with weed? Only happens if you were smoking the strongest strains in a huge big fatties. The more common strains of this actually have anti-psychotics in them. If this drug was regulated as with all the others out there (tobacco/alcohol) you can bet the company who sold it would put a hellava lot of research and warning advisories to go with it which would blow your arguments out the water. Which is probably why you don't want it to happen so you don't get egg on your faces.

Uh, actually it is worse than that because IT'S ILLEGAL. Sure, you can't drink or smoke under 18, but you can't smoke marijuana any time, period. It's a well known illegal substance, so anyone who does it is totally asking for it.

Actually, some of us don't smoke or drink when it is illegal to do so (or verboten by our parents). So your moral high horse is a little bit faulty. [Full disclosure: I once had 3 gulps of beer while in a country where it was legal for me to do so.] The entire issue with marijuana is, for me, a matter of respect: respect for the law in all cases, and for those still living with their parents, respect for their elders. I don't concern myself with whether marijuana is dangerous or not because I don't really care. However, I do take issue with people who smoke marijuana without pursuing the legal methods to legalize it. When you smoke it in the privacy of your own home, that's not a political statement--it's just a crime, a flauting of the law. Now, if all of you were to go and sit in front of the White House and light one up in order to protest for the legalization of marijuana, then I would respect you. But for now, you're all a bunch of criminals, with the exception of the tiny handful of you who were prescribed it by your doctor.

"It's worse because it's illegal"? I hate to break it to ya, kid, but just because something is illegal doesn't mean it's wrong or worse/more harmful than any other substance you may or may not put in your body. The GOP put the Patriot Act into effect and started tapping phone lines because they could, but that doesn't make them right to do so just because there's a law. I know it's a hard concept to understand, but just because the government says so, doesn't mean it's right. Take a step back and start thinking for yourself for a change. In conclusion; just because something is a law doesn't mean it's automatically right. Do some research on why cannabis was made illegal in the first place. You may be surprised.

Almost every person has at some point of their childhood/teens has had a drink of booze or smoked a cigarette behind their parents backs. mhmm right, well hate to create a flaw in your theory there but i dont smoke cigs/weed or drink, and never have. Don't plan on it either. If your going to get pissed about people generalizing stoners then try not generalizing everyone else. because believe it or not....-gasp- there are people who don't need/want/require mind-altering substances to enjoy life. no disrespect to your lifestyle but don't be ignorant to lifestlyes other than your own. i hate this world.

He clearly used the word 'almost' while all of the anti-drug Nazis were telling us that all of us pot smokers were fat/stupid/ anti social heroin junkies with lung cancer.

I also don't use drugs to enjoy life, but rather to enhance my life. Imagine eating your favourite food or listening to your favourite song. Now imagine that it felt twice as good! That's what weed does for me. I would enjoy life without it, but with it my life is even better.

thats what you get for smoking weed, dipshit

YDI for smoking pot. I mean, seriously; how did you NOT deserve it? kudos to your friend for selling your druggie-ass self to your parents. dumbass.

Drugs exist, don't they? Then use them. Even the Bible itself says that all green plants are here for us humans to use as we will. And marijuana was in southwest asia thousands of years before the bible was written ; other accounts of written work from the same time period include the smoking of hashish and the drinking of pot tea. NO DOUBT when the Bible was written marijuana was included in those "green plants" for all of us to use. Therefore, all you YDI peeps, f u. grow up and realize that if he isn't hurting anybody it doesn't matter. do whatever the **** you want, whenever the **** you want, as long as everybody else can do whatever the **** they want whenever the **** they want. DONE

The bible also states that we are to obey our authorities; the government is included. I'm not saying pot is /bad/, but it's /illegal/, and that alone is the reason why I don't do pot.

So you are saying that Rosa Parks should have kept her trap shut and sat at the back of the bus because it was the law and the Bible tells us to follow the law? Perhaps during WWII the people of Europe should have helped the Nazis to round up the Jews and slaughter them because it was the law??? Was the apartheid system of South Africa good in the eyes of God because it was the law? Hate to break it to you kid but governments of the world don't have the best track record when it comes to making good laws. I can't picture a God who would be upset with its people for standing up for fairness through civil disobedience.

my friend died of a marijuana overdose...no lie! i swear! it's a substance dangerous as f*ck

You're so full of it, I can smell you from here. Read up on your facts: http://www.saferchoice.org/content/view/24/53/ and: http://www.drugtext.org/sub/marmyt1.html At least if you're going to lie, make it believable, please. Thanks and don't forget to tip your waiter.

Lol too bad there have been no reports off someone overdosing on weed. There was probably crack in his joint or somthing.

omfgstephx3 0

way to be an idiot, FYL for being so dumb. hahaha

purupuru 1

That's because your friend is a dumbass and it was laced with shit.

flex_able 0

LIE!!! unless it was laced, or grow on some ground covered in chemicals.

that's not true nobody in the history of the world has ever overdosed on marijuana because its impossible to overdose on marijuana

While YDI for smoking weed, I do understand how mush it sucks to have your friend spill on you. My friends did that when i cut...their parents thought it was for the best

I always find it odd people will say YDI for smoking pot, but not if you were drinking which actually leads to violence and accidents which effect others, unlike pot. It's not really a matter of opinion. Alcohol is addictive, pot isn't. Alcohol causes far more long term health effects, kills a far higher percentage of users when used excessively, costs tax payers far, far more money (police and ambulance call outs, road repairs, health care, etc, etc) and is largely responsible for a lot of domestic violence and road deaths.

The experienced effects of marijuana are very different from person to person. The most common ones are relaxation and mood alteration, but it can also evoke hallucination and paranioa. All of these could easily result in violent behavior or accidents (e.g. is someone influenced were to drive a car). So don't make pot sound like it's some kind of miracle drug that has no influence on your behavior or consciousness.

Like any substance that messes with your brain chemistry, marijuana can be dangerous. Hallucinogens of any sort (including marijuana) can cause depersonalization disorder or hallucinogen persisting perception disorder. If you end up with either of these, the symptoms will persist for the rest of your life. Anyway, OP, YDI. Your friend's parents and your parents only want to keep you from screwing up your life.

Hey guess what? Marijuana is not a hallucinogen. Which of the three classes of hallucinogen does it fall under? Psy, dis, or del? And if you don't know what those are by those abbreviations, you clearly haven't done enough research to make claims. Okay, depending, I guess at times it could be a dis, but you have to really have strong amounts of THC in your system before you have effects like that. You know what else is a hallucinogen? Dyphenhydramine. It's a del. Do you know what dyph is? Benadryl. Legal, easy to get, OTC drug. Dextromethorphan is also a hallucinogen. Dis, in fact. You know what DXM is, right? ROBITUSSIN. Also legal, easy to get, and over-the-counter. Just because some people abuse substances doesn't mean they need to be illegal. And regardless of how harmful they are to your body, no body has the right to tell other people how to live their lives.
