Today, my boyfriend proposed. He said we’d go pick up the ring tomorrow. Then he asked to borrow $40 to get it out of pawn. He pawned it when his ex gave it back to him. FML

Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML

Today, my boyfriend of 4 years proposed to me. I said yes and he gave me an engagement ring. He immediately went to call his mom to tell her the happy news. After the phone call, he asked if he could return the ring because his mom needed money. FML

I would say "not to be judgemental, but...", But i'm not, since I am being judgemental... He doesn't really seem like a keeper, not because he's poor, there are many wonderfull poor guys (i would assume...), but mostly because he seems to lack all forms for tackt, timing or common sence...
