Aw, that sucks. It's always terrible to lose a pet. I get sad when my fish die, let alone any other pets being lost or dying. I'm not looking forward to my dog dying. He's old and hopefully he has a few years left. I'll be so depressed when he dies. I've had him since I was 6, and I'm almost 21 now. I'm sorry you lost your pet, and that your dad was insensitive. I hope he wasn't trying to be. It could be that he just wasn't thinking. Either way, it sucks. :( FYL AND your chicken's life. Here's hoping you feel better soon.
