Today, my 5-year-old son woke up early and ran into my bedroom to wake me up. Unfortunately, he did this by jumping onto my bed, slamming his knee into my balls in the process. I had to explain my tears of agony away by claiming I was just so happy to see him. FML

And then we wonder why our kids lie to us later in life. They were well trained. Should have been honest and explained that he racked you in the nuts and should be more careful and considerate next time.

OP you should probably explain to your son that that's a sensitive area and politely tell him to not jump on ur bed in the future! Otherwise he might repeat his actions

He'll keep doing that... You should have explained that he hurt you, even though it was an accident. My son is very careful around my husband's crotchal region after a couple of accidental kneeings.
