Today, my 5-year-old son woke up early and ran into my bedroom to wake me up. Unfortunately, he did this by jumping onto my bed, slamming his knee into my balls in the process. I had to explain my tears of agony away by claiming I was just so happy to see him. FML

Even I put my knees up to my chest when i see my two infant brothers running at me, even if it is just to run over and give me a hug. And I'm a girl. You should always anticipate with little ones OP. Theyre clumsy as ****. FYL pain wise but YDI for being a father so long and didn't see it coming

Sooo....he should've seen it coming? How exactly? As the FML states, he was woken up by his son. I don't know about you, but when i sleep, i usually have my eyes closed. Just saying.
