You asked for a new car?! What effing world do you live in kid? Work, get money, buy a car. What do you think all those people on the bus are doing there? Enjoying each other's company? No they're on the bus mostly because they don't have a car. The world is going to teach you some hard lessons and your parents taught you one soft little lesson. Asking for a car is asking for way too much. Hell asking for a new computer is asking for too much for a birthday present. You should be happy that they didn't buy you a car because then they'd be stupid parents and you'd be screwed when real life came calling.
