Today, was my 16th birthday and I was supposed to be surprised with a new car. I have overheard my parents talking about bringing it home tonight while I was at a friend's house. We snuck back to my house to see them bring my car home. All I saw was my Dad crash my new car into a street lamp. FML

Everyone get over yourselves. The OP was NOT bitching about the fact that they get a car. They were probably very grateful and excited. The OP was saying FML because they witnesses their birthday present getting badly damaged. I am not that privileged either, but you guys need to learn how to read properly. Really. Lol, what happens is that your insurance rates might go up. After all, you probably are using the same insurance as your two parents. Plus, if you're a teenaged boy, then your rates are extremely high. That sucks big time

wow some people are so spoiled that when their parents buy them a new car for their 16th birthday, and they make a mistake by crashing it they get pissed you should be thankful you even got a ****** car, who cares if there happens to be a little damage on it it's brand new, mos people don't get a car when their 16, on top of hat your parents payed for it. Oh yeah and the car was probably insured too that's what auto insurance is for you spoiled brat
