Today, in the second week of August, hell has come to earth; my mom has been playing Christmas music all afternoon and is already searching online for decorations. I hope she buys a length of rope to go with them, because I've already given up on life. FML

I like getting Christmas shopping done around this time of year, to avoid having to go to outlets and malls during holiday season. Plus, you avoid shortages and price bumps, but I don't put up decorations until at least the first week of December. I'm all for early Christmas shopping, but damn....

I work in a Christmas Barn. I have been surrounded by lights, handling decorations, covered in glitter and even singing along to the Christmas music since the first weekend of June....I can feel your pain

@ Little_Lost_Lamb; My neighbor has never taken his lights, tree, or the Rudolph antlers and/or nose on his car, down. AqThe radio for us overnight workers? It's a fixed setting. And from mid September, until December 26th, our station begins playing Christmas

OP, I just saw this today. I work as a receiver for a wholesale store and I got Christmas trees off my delivery yesterday. In 4 weeks, we're setting up Christmas stuff. The very thought eats at my half ginger soul
