Today, in my class I was nominated for the guy with the worst hairdo. I don't know what is worse, the fact that I was nominated or the fact that I felt let down when I did not win. FML

Today, at the elementary school where I teach, the kids all voted for their favorite teacher. I was the only one to receive zero votes. When I asked a small group of students why no one voted for me, one boy replied "because you're the ugliest". FML

Today, I was sitting in a restaurant with my best friend. We had just competed in a pageant together earlier this month. A lady comes up to my friend who got first alternate and said, "You were robbed of that title. You deserved to win. I hated the winner." I was the winner. FML

Today, I went to get a haircut. I have a pretty bad case of dandruff, so whenever I get one, a lot of it shows. My hairstylist called to her nearby friend twice, then looked at my hair and said, "Blech" under her breath. I got glares when I walked out. FML

Today, I found out I didn't get accepted into a program I was nominated to attend at work that all other applicants with less experience than myself did. I found out when they asked if I had gotten the acceptance email. They didn't even bother telling me I was rejected. FML

Yeah....because that's something you should be able to change about yourself overnight right? Lack of self confidence, isn't exactly something someone can just get over. Certainly it's doable, but it's not as easy as you imply.

Thats a good thing not to be nominated for that :) It means that people don't think your hair is THAT bad and thats good :) You should feel sorry for the person who did get it. Trust me, it is not a GOOD award. You don't want that label above your head.. because it won't leave until you are out of highschool.

It's a good thing that there are hair stylists. But if you search through here, don't trust all of them. Some will **** up and make your hair cut worse, or burn your scalp. Be careful choosing a stylist.
