Today, I was wearing a skirt, and running towards a closing elevator, making it just in time. As soon as I ran in, my pad fell out of my underwear and onto the floor. There were 6 other people in the elevator. I picked it up before I realized I had nowhere to put it, so I held it. For 18 floors. FML

Today, I was riding my dorm elevator from the 5th floor to the 1st by myself. Since the elevator is really slow, I pulled my pants and underwear down just for kicks. Just then, the door opened to let a girl on at the 4th floor. FML

Today, while I was at work, I didn't have any panty liners so I used tissue. I was taking orders when I suddenly felt the tissue trailing down my leg. I tried not to move, but it inevitably fell through my pants onto the floor in front of my co-workers. I swiftly put it into my pocket. Luckily, it had nothing on it. FML

Today, I was trying on clothes in a store that had just screens set up for changing. As I took off the first pair of pants had I tried on, my foot got hooked in the cuff and I fell out in my underwear in front of the whole store. FML

Today, I was riding up an escalator in the mall in uncomfortable high heels. While adjusting my bag I suddenly lost my balance and began flailing wildly. In desperation I hurled forward and ended up grabbing a teenage boy's buttocks and was promptly slapped by his girlfriend. FML

Today, I was running late for work. To save time, I grabbed my belt on my way out the door and was putting it on in the elevator, which stopped at the next floor before I had put my belt all the way on. A hot girl stepped into the elevator, looked at my undone belt, screamed "Ew" and got off. FML

Today, I grabbed a pair of pants from the dryer in a hurry, trying to make it to the bank. When I rushed in, I felt something fall down my leg. It was a pair of my mom's granny panties that had been stuck inside my jeans. I kicked them aside, hoping no one would notice. They did. FML

Today, I had a lovely day, right up until the moment I got home, went to change my pad, and realised that sometime in the last two hours, somewhere between the library and this moment, my pad had somehow… fallen out. So somewhere out there my bloody pad is… just there. What if someone saw? FML

Today, while trying on an outfit in the dressing room at the mall, I got locked in. I decided to take 5 minutes to try and get out by crawling under the door. After I got out, I realized I left my cell phone, my purse and my pants inside. FML

Today, I was heading to class with all of my books and papers in my arms. To prevent tripping and falling down the stairs, I decided to take the elevator. On my way there, I slipped and fell because my books were blocking the wet floor sign. FML

Buy a diva cup. And as for the "How could this happen?" comments: If you use the restroom a few times before you actually need to change your pad, or if you are particularly active, the movement of your underwear wears down the stickiness of the pad and it can be wiggled loose. Again...buy a diva cup.

I agree. I have a mooncup, the British equivalent. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Better for me, better for the environment, way cheaper... etc etc. If you can wear a tampon, you should try a cup. They're so much better :)

i prefer tampons-i hate feeling wet, bloody, and sticky when wearing a pad. When using tampons, the blood is absorbed into the tampon (thus the fluid never leaves your body until you take the tampon out). Much cleaner and sanitary....the OP should try it : )

When your running the glue stars to come off the pad and the pad moves out of place. Try conpretion shorts under anything you wear when your wearing a pad. Tampons are best for skirts. I bet that you gave the people in the elivator a bit of a surprise..

I just googled it...there was a diagram and everything. I don't recommend it. Creepy. OP, that REALLY blows. I can't even imagine this happening, I mean, I know what it's like to have a leak, but the actual pad falling out? That's like some strange form of torture.
