I hope you're going home from vacation and not starting your vacation. Buy what you need, keep receipts, and get reimbursed. it happened to me. I kept all my receipts for everything I replaced and was reimbursed plus a little extra when I returned home and filed my issue with the airline.

**** you. I work for the airlines and we are not stupid. We are human like you, we make mistakes. If your luggage is missing it's due to multiple things. You get your shit back the next flight that goes out.

The airlines are responsible to find your luggage and return it to you free of charge. Jetblue puts it on the next available flight.
