Today, I was riding my bike on the side of the road because there was no sidewalk. Then a car with a loud horn honked at me. Pissed off, I turned around and screamed "shut the fuck up!" It was my girlfriend's parents saying hi. FML

Today, while driving to my girlfriend's house, I passed up a stop sign without stopping. A car passing by honked. I honked back several times and flipped them the finger. Turns out it was my girlfriend's dad trying to say hi. FML

Neighbors from hell

Today, after a few months of my neighbor's friend parking outside his house and honking until he came outside, I happened to be out doing lawn work. I politely screamed, "STOP HONKING YOUR F***ING HORN!" To which they responded by moving in front of MY house and holding down their horn. I hate people. FML

Today, my car broke down. I had a two mile, up-hill walk ahead of me. About half way up the hill, a car beeped. Thinking they were poking fun at my misfortune, I began to curse and use obscene gestures, only to find out that it was my neighbor asking if I needed a ride. She drove off. FML

Today, my mother started cursing at a lady for tooting her horn at her in traffic, because there was "no need for road rage". When I tried to calm her down, she slammed on the brakes and told me to get out and walk. FML

Today, I was sitting in a parked car. A woman was having difficulties maneuvering out. She honked the horn repeatedly for me to move, then looked me in the eye and called me a "f**king bitch", before driving off. I was in the passenger seat. FML

well its actually against the law to honk at a person on a bike because it can scare them and cause an accident so really theyre to blame there cuz no matter what, don't honk at a cyclist.

ITT: idiots who don't know what it's like to have a car honk at you while you are cycling. Personally, I would've tried to see who it was first, but I can sympathise with the guy.

exactly. seeing as so many people hate cyclists and think they're annoying and taking up road space, it's not unrealistic that if a cyclist is getting attention from another vehicle, such as a honk, then it's probably negative attention. And if this guy bikes a lot, he's prob used to getting harassed or honked at and is sick of it. people are idiots when it comes to road rules about cyclists. Anyone remember the FML about the guy hand signaling for a left turn and some douches tried to give him a high 5? case in point.
