Today, I started my job selling perfume in a department store. I decided to be creative and sprayed a little perfume towards the first person who walked by. She had an allergic reaction, and an ambulance had to be called. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was working in a call center when I smelled perfume. I'm allergic, and it triggered my asthma. When I came back, some jerk had sprayed it all over my work area. I couldn't go near it for the rest of my shift, therefore I had to go home early, and got my paycheck docked. FML
Today, I started my new job at a fragrance store. While training, the manager had me smell all of the scents to become familiar with the products. Before my shift was over, I'd had three asthma attacks. FML
Today, I discovered I'm allergic to the new perfume I bought and now I smell like a hospital. FML
Today, I was at Bath and Body Works with a friend of mine. She wanted me to smell a particular lotion and when she brought it up to my nose, she squeezed the bottle and lotion went all over my face. Right after, a worker came by and commented how the lotion "got a little too excited". FML
Today, I had to walk through the women's perfume section to get to my normal aftershave. A woman was trying out a perfume, which she squirted on herself and me. You can imagine the afternoon I had to endure after I got home to my wife and she could smell "some slut's scent" all over me. FML
Today, I had an allergic reaction to my deodorant. My armpits wouldn't stop itching, and by the time my shift was over, they were raw and bloody. FML
Today, I used so many different perfume testers that I passed out on the bus. FML
Today, I was at a restaurant waiting for a table. Some lady walked by, smelling like BO and patchouli oil. I attempted to cover my nose with my sweatshirt, but I thumped a small girl in the process. FML
Today, as I came out of changing rooms in a clothes shop, I gave back all the stuff I'd tried on to a saleswoman. I then walked off, made it a couple of yards, changed my mind, and decided to purchase one of the items I'd tried. When I got back, the saleswoman was spraying the changing room I'd used with deodorant. FML
Today, while in a pharmacy, I walked over to the shaving cream aisle. I picked up a can to smell it and unknowingly pushed the button, spraying an old guy in front of me. He freaked out and started telling everyone that the ceiling above him was leaking. FML

I would be seriously annoyed if someone sprayed me with perfume without asking me, allergy or not. Asshole move. You should ask people beforehand, OP, YDI

You didn't know she was allergic. But even at that, there a difference between being creative and being rude to customers which is what you were doing. I know what you were going for, OP, and I'm glad you want to be a bit different to try to get those sales. But,at the same time you always need to be conscious on what affects your actions can have. I'm going to have to YDI this

I hope you got fired. There is nothing worse in a department store than not being able to avoid the perfume section, because even if no one sprays anything, the scent lingers and sends me gasping for fresh air and/or my inhaler.Stong artificial scents, cigarette smoke, and mown grass are about the only things that set me off, but perfume aisles are always taken at a dead run and with held breath.
