Today, I realized I'm getting my period pretty soon. How? I started crying and throwing plates because I thought we were out of sweet bread. FML

Today, I was showing the guy I like something on my phone. My period tracking app decided it was the perfect time to tell me that I need to stock up on tampons, because I'm getting my period tomorrow. FML
Today, I woke up to realize I got my period a week early. The day of the after-wedding brunch. In a sort of remote area. Without pads or tampons. I need to be at the breakfast in a half-hour. FML
Today, my girlfriend is on her period. She hugged me, crying because she was going to miss me. Where was I going? To the store down the street and back. FML
Today, I found out that I puke and then pass out at the sight of blood. I am a 16 year old girl expecting hundreds of periods to come. FML
Today, I'm on the last few days of my period. After nothing came out the whole day, a dollop of blood suddenly poured out, somehow managed to entirely circumvent the giant pad I was wearing, and went straight into my underwear, pants, and the chair I was sitting on. FML
Today, after I went in for surgery, I came out of extremely anemic from blood loss. As soon as I got home, I started my period. FML
Today, I had to go through the embarrassment and pain of telling my parents I was pregnant. I took the test and it came out positive and I was freaking out. I got grounded for the rest of the year and they're really disappointed in me. Five minutes ago, I got my period. FML
Today, while sitting on the toilet, I noticed there was no toilet paper left, so I dug through my purse to use my one and only pad as a substitute. It clogged the toilet, and I started my period ten minutes later. FML
Today, at a family reunion, my dad announced to everyone that I'd finally started my menstrual cycle. My grandmother started sobbing hysterically. FML
Today, I realized how emotional I get around my time of month when I cried because a cheese commercial was so "touching." FML

Think you're just a bitch OP either that or there's something else going on with you. There's no correlation between periods and mood swings. One does not cause the other. It's merely a myth dating back to when people had no idea about women's bodies and just blamed their moods on ''must be a woman thing''. You merely act like that because society tells you that you should act like that.

Actually your hormones are all over the place during a period and many many women can feel awful and have terrible reactions in the day leading up to and during their period.

60, they air the ignorant fool. I'm a woman with very painful long periods and it's been perform that periods don't cause mood swings. It is a myth. Maybe you should do your research. In addition, being in pain is no excuse to be bitchy and act out. There are people dying slow incredibly painful deaths who are the kindest period and don't act out, so whats OPs excuse?
