Today, I realized I'm getting my period pretty soon. How? I started crying and throwing plates because I thought we were out of sweet bread. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was showing the guy I like something on my phone. My period tracking app decided it was the perfect time to tell me that I need to stock up on tampons, because I'm getting my period tomorrow. FML
Help! I need somebody!
Today, I woke up to realize I got my period a week early. The day of the after-wedding brunch. In a sort of remote area. Without pads or tampons. I need to be at the breakfast in a half-hour. FML

Today, my girlfriend is on her period. She hugged me, crying because she was going to miss me. Where was I going? To the store down the street and back. FML
Today, I found out that I puke and then pass out at the sight of blood. I am a 16 year old girl expecting hundreds of periods to come. FML
My body hates me
Today, I'm on the last few days of my period. After nothing came out the whole day, a dollop of blood suddenly poured out, somehow managed to entirely circumvent the giant pad I was wearing, and went straight into my underwear, pants, and the chair I was sitting on. FML
NOT NOW!
Today, after I went in for surgery, I came out of extremely anemic from blood loss. As soon as I got home, I started my period. FML
Today, I had to go through the embarrassment and pain of telling my parents I was pregnant. I took the test and it came out positive and I was freaking out. I got grounded for the rest of the year and they're really disappointed in me. Five minutes ago, I got my period. FML
Today, while sitting on the toilet, I noticed there was no toilet paper left, so I dug through my purse to use my one and only pad as a substitute. It clogged the toilet, and I started my period ten minutes later. FML
Today, at a family reunion, my dad announced to everyone that I'd finally started my menstrual cycle. My grandmother started sobbing hysterically. FML
PMS FTW
Today, I realized how emotional I get around my time of month when I cried because a cheese commercial was so "touching." FML

Maybe you're just really passionate about sweet bread and you hate plates...

If it makes you feel any better, I go on chocolate overload a week before mine starts :p

Sounds like you're also very, very stressed. Not just the PMS.

I understand getting upset easily when your hormones are going nuts, but throwing plates? I hate it when people use PMS as an excuse to act ridiculous. You can't control your emotions, but you CAN control your actions. Get a hold of yourself :P

I've flipped out many times in my head but never in reality. But it's definitely a bad time to run out I agree!

I never want to be in the same room as you if I run out of sweet bread lol.

I'd remember to get some in for next month then.

While you may not be able to control crying, throwing plates is a decision you made on how to respond to your feelings. If you typically get into rages, hormonal or otherwise, you need to take an anger management class. Throwing plates is not normal. Own that and get help or grow up.

hey Op my pms is super bad, I start with mood swing days before my period and it last about 7 full days. But I do love my family so I take pills to relieve those symptoms, I call them 'my bitchy pills'. I hate not having full control of my body. The littlest thing can piss me off.

Sounds like you might want to look into the possibility of a mood disorder. Breaking plates is a conscious decision, and blaming it on your hormones is just perpetuating the myth that women are unreasonable when they're PMSing.

It's certainly not a myth. Unwanted stereotype certainly, but as fml proves, far too many women really are irrational psychopaths at moments while they are PMSing or pregnant. In fact, it has become so common that male standard reactions assume it will happen.
