Today, I realized I'm getting my period pretty soon. How? I started crying and throwing plates because I thought we were out of sweet bread. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was showing the guy I like something on my phone. My period tracking app decided it was the perfect time to tell me that I need to stock up on tampons, because I'm getting my period tomorrow. FML
Help! I need somebody!
Today, I woke up to realize I got my period a week early. The day of the after-wedding brunch. In a sort of remote area. Without pads or tampons. I need to be at the breakfast in a half-hour. FML

Today, my girlfriend is on her period. She hugged me, crying because she was going to miss me. Where was I going? To the store down the street and back. FML
Today, I found out that I puke and then pass out at the sight of blood. I am a 16 year old girl expecting hundreds of periods to come. FML
My body hates me
Today, I'm on the last few days of my period. After nothing came out the whole day, a dollop of blood suddenly poured out, somehow managed to entirely circumvent the giant pad I was wearing, and went straight into my underwear, pants, and the chair I was sitting on. FML
NOT NOW!
Today, after I went in for surgery, I came out of extremely anemic from blood loss. As soon as I got home, I started my period. FML
Today, I had to go through the embarrassment and pain of telling my parents I was pregnant. I took the test and it came out positive and I was freaking out. I got grounded for the rest of the year and they're really disappointed in me. Five minutes ago, I got my period. FML
Today, while sitting on the toilet, I noticed there was no toilet paper left, so I dug through my purse to use my one and only pad as a substitute. It clogged the toilet, and I started my period ten minutes later. FML
Today, at a family reunion, my dad announced to everyone that I'd finally started my menstrual cycle. My grandmother started sobbing hysterically. FML
PMS FTW
Today, I realized how emotional I get around my time of month when I cried because a cheese commercial was so "touching." FML

OP I'm sorry, I have been there, it is a bad time :( especially when you are sane the other three weeks.

Well, is there more sweet bread?

Please don't take it out on the toaster. Not the toaster !!! I'm sure your local Bed, Bath and Beyond folks are happy to see you come in for your monthly dish replacement trip.

You solved the puzzle as to why bb&b sends out monthly coupons!

did you start crying even more out of happiness once you found out there was in fact sweet bread ?

She did. And for feeling guilty about breaking the plates for nothing.

In fact, she was so upset about the plates that she threw some more plates.

"I feel it deep within, It's just beneath the skin I must confess that I feel like a monster I hate what I've become The nightmare's just begun I must confess that I feel like a monster I, I feel like a monster I, I feel like a monster" ***This is what I feel like whenever I'm PMSing. God help the ones around me. :P

I couldn't have put it any better, myself.

I know that feel, sister. But seriously, being that uncontrollable during your PMS sounds like more than just hormones. You should get that checked out - I've gone through the same stuff and after the gynecologist switched my birth control I was way more relaxed.

I hate it when crazy b*tches blame their periods for their behaviour. Women all around the world are managing to survive it every month without turning into fire breating dragons. You're just mental.

Nevermind the hormonal changes that happen once a month, think of the pain that a period brings and tell me yo wouldn't be grumpy/bitchy/frustrated after 5 days of near constant pain.

The aches and pains of menstruation can make you grumpy, emotional and prone to snapping at people, but throwing plates across the room? If that's real PMS then its pretty severe and she needs to speak to her doctor asap. Personally I think It's just another case of a woman blaming her bad behaviour on PMS.

I'm agreeing with 40. I am a woman and roughly half of the people I have known are women, yet I have never known anyone to totally psych out over menstruation. OP needs a head check. That is not pms.

25- Please explain more on how you know about how the woman body works...
Obey_StudBoii 23
#25 You have no idea how the female body works. You'd be in a bitchy mood if you bled for 7 days straight. So before you decide to open your mouth and talk crap watch what you say and learn to take it from a woman's point of view. Some women, don't have cramps, get grouchy or have mood swings at all. Then there are women who do. As far as OP, I can't say what she did was from PMS but if it was then well that's not normal.

I get horrible PMS (my cramps are so bad, sometimes I can't even stand up), and sometimes I get snappy and bitchy, but I've NEVER broken something or hit someone. That behavior is never acceptable, PMS or not. I'm sick of women using their periods as an excuse for everything.

The pain used to be so unbearable for me, I would be bedridden. Still didn't snap at anybody or throw things though. OP needs to control herself.

I have also have terrible period symptoms and have been in tons of pain and i dont act crazy and snap at people and i certainly don't use my period as an excuse to act bitchy. It seems to me that the women getting super defensive love to use their period as an excuse to act out.

Hm, I think you could just be bipolar or have some sort of other disorder. I know that whenever I'm on my period, I never go berserk over food.
