The problem isn't engineering, the problem is being in Western Australia... :P I'm a Robotic and Mechatronic Engineering student, and am one of the very few girls in my course. While the guys will certainly check you out, overall they are very nice guys; they definitely won't sit there staring at your breasts. However, if you are in Civil Engineering, I have found the guys do tend towards the douchier side.
