Today, I had to finally come to terms with the fact that I am obese when the doctor told me that my weird smell was not an infection but mold growing between my fat rolls. FML

At least you finally understand now. Sad that your smell is what convinced you rather than the diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, coronary artery disease, and stroke. Now if only I could figure out a way to make bad drivers stink so they finally realise they suck at driving...

Sorry about all these snarky comments, OP. You're not just a body, and I'm betting you're probably a pretty great person. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor about how to sort both the obesity and the hygiene problems. He or she will have better answers than any random person who might comment here, whether or not they are trying to be helpful. We can't solve this for you because we can't see you and don't know you, and we don't have the medical skills to help you without knowing more about your situation.

You can be overweight and still be hygienic. Even if the OP has various complications that make losing weight difficult, that's not an excuse to not wash properly. There are showerheads that are handheld- you can absolutely wash yourself unless you are so obese that normal movement is severely impaired.
