Today, I heard a little girl saying how much she didnt want braces to her mom because they hurt and make people look ugly. I looked at her and said, "Aww, there not that bad. See, I have them!" I then smiled to show her. She turned to her mom and said, "See!" then started to cry. FML

Today, at the store, I heard a kid complaining about getting braces. While I was saying 'thank you' and 'bye' to the cashier, his grandma must've seen my slightly crooked teeth. She pointed and said, "Without them, your teeth will look bad like that man's!" Everyone around looked at me. FML

Don't take it personally, OP. I'm sure he was just messing with you. I know this is old, but at least now your teeth are beautiful. I only say this because I had gapped teeth and was made fun of growing up, so I was very eager to get braces. When I got them, I thought I looked strange but didn't care because I was so happy about being able to finally get my teeth fixed. Believe it or not, just a short while after having the braces, all these guys started coming up to me and asking me out (this included guys that never talked to me before). So some guys may like it! :)
