I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that she probably wanted to show everyone where she went. That doesn't mean that she didn't attempt to spend time with you. You sound terribly ungrateful.

My mom is an alcoholic. I love her very, very much and I know some of you are saying I'm ungrateful but through everything she's put me through, enough Is enough. She was probably wasted when she let this one slip. So as I promised my father and my sister, I will take her to rehab. We won't go to Mexico after all! Going to repair my moms life!
