My dad likes to fill water bottles with carbonated water and mix them amongst the other water bottle so you guzzle it unexpectedly.

I have to say, it's a little strange how many people jumped straight to poison. My mind went straight to the old episode of Big Bang Theory where Sheldon has been putting insects in Leonard's food just to see when he'll notice!

Because your soda tastes funny. There is literally no point to drinking soda other than liking the taste, so if you don't like the taste of it...it's ruined.
