Today, I found my childhood diary stashed in a box in the attic. I flipped to the last page and noticed a little note written by my now deceased father. It read, "Well son, this diary proves that you're a whiny asshole - Dad." Thanks Dad, from beyond the grave. FML

I don't think it was creepy... he was writing them to make her feel good about herself. I think it's kinda sweet. It's not a **** her life... more like her life is better than she thinks because her dad wants her to be happy.

Talk about setting the child up for disappointment. Then again why would she like letters from a stranger? Didn't she talk about it with her friends and speculate who it was? How do you go to class the next day and tell your girlfriends "You know those romantic letters we have been reading at lunch? They are from Daddy." I can't imagine short of living in Arkansas where this would ever be a good idea.
