I'm sorry OP, I've been there. When I was four I had a door slammed on my pinky finger. Had to go to the ER and get stitches. Not fun. Hope it heals quickly!

Once had my head accidentally slammed by the trunk of a car. Left a good painful soot on my head for some time...breaking fingers is extremely cringe-worthy just READING about it. FYL indeed, OP.

When my teacher was in the army, his fingers literally got chopped off when that happened with an armed vehicle. FYL anyways

Please, it's not that bad. That happened to me in middle school, and I played my flute in the concert two days later by using alternative fingerings for the notes that needed the bad fingers. Farm girls find a way ?
