Today, I came home and saw on our fridge, "Please don't drink anymore, I really worry about your health" written by my 7-year-old daughter. I figured she wouldn't ever find out, so I opened the fridge. Then I found another note on a can that said, "So you're going to drink anyway?" FML

You should feel lucky to have a smart daughter who really cares about you.

NEWSFLASH .... YOU ARE AN ALCOHOLIC! maybe you should be spending time with 7 year old instead of sitting on the couch getting wasted like a fat piece of shit and letting your kids grow up to be criminals. How about you be a responsible parent and a good role model? Oh wait... that's right... it's because you a douchebag. I look forward to seeing your child's police report.

this is sad..... Where is the love? Your seven year old daughter might be smarter than you

you obviously have a problem if you'd betray the wishes of your daughter for alchohol.

seriously, what? When a 7 year old is smarter than you, you've got some issues. This is a no-brainer. Stop wallowing in self-pity, and pity the poor kid. I've got two self-absorbed parents with problems they refuse to deal with, and it drains kids. I don't see either of them anymore.

I like your kid. I also like drinking. However, if your kid is worrying about your health because of you drinking to excess, it's time to cut back a bit dude.

Hopefully this isn't a case of alcohol abuse; both of my parents are alcoholics, and I've said this exact thing to the both of them. They've never listened. If this is just a case of her not knowing the difference between responsible drinking and alcohol abuse, I recommend you have a talk to her, because she's probably really scared right now for you. If it IS a case of alcohol abuse, please get the help you need... And soon, for your family's sake. :/

I dont want to come on here and tell how much a a crppy parent you are and how you need help and go to www.aa.org or whatever. Thats only going to make you feel worse and make drinking more attractive. I'm not say that drinking all the time is good. Make a committment to stop. Let your daughter know that you love her too and care for her very much. Mak sure she knows that her statements have been noticed and are being taken seriously. Best of luck. =]
