Today, after saving up for weeks, I bought myself an iPad. Because mine is better than the one my parents bought my ten-year-old brother, he got pissed and threw it into our pool. I'm now grounded for getting angry and calling him a bastard in the aftermath. FML

I dont see anything wrong with a 10 year old having a ipad you can learn a lot on them. However he was so wrong.

I would have called him a lot more than that.

Well it looks like his Ipad is now your Ipad. Or if that isn't good enough at least sell his to help pay to fix yours.

To all the people saying that its just the younger siblings being treated unfairly it's not. I'm the younger sibling and the minute my older sister was old enough to get a job and make money and buy things for herself she immediatly starting bitching that it was unfair if I got things paid for when she had to pay for things herself (small things like clothes or going to the movies. Not phones and ipads etc.) so I was forced to start paying for things myself at the same time she did (even though she was paid for, for 3 years longer than I was because of our ages) and I didn't even get an allowance or was even able to get a job (as it was illegal for me to work at my age) so I was unable to buy anything for basicly 3 years till I was able to get a job and make money myself. Sometimes it's the older sibling who is the one favoured.

Your parents owe you a new iPad. Shame on them for raising a spoiled brat.

I would've smashed his on his head, and used him as a freakin' pool float!

hey atleast you have a pool and HAD an ipad. spoiled brat

Maybe you missed the part where OP had to save for it (most likely from a job). I'm back in school for my masters and finally saved enough to pick up an iPad, so I feel her pain.
