Today, a woman came to my counter and ordered 12 donuts. I said, "OK sure, a dozen donuts." She paused, looked at me with disgust and yelled, "I said 12, NOT a dozen." FML

Today, while working at a dollar store, I was clobbered by a woman because apparently, I was ripping her off by charging two dollars for two doughnuts. She didn't understand that she couldn't buy multiple items at once for one dollar. FML

Today, I asked my 18 year-old daughter to buy half a dozen donuts. When she brought them over, I opened the box and discovered the dozen donuts were all cut in half. She just got accepted into a prestigious private university. FML

Here's what you do... tell her that a dozen is a much better deal than buying 12. If she is insistent, ring it up as 12 singles. if she asks how many are in a dozen, then tell her. Your boss will get a laugh if she complains...

i personaly believe that democracy was never designed to work in its current state. the current government does not follow the constitution the way the founders wanted. the states were supposed to have a loose trade affiliation with each other and be more like city states, like rome.
