Still going

Today, I got a job selling knives. I had training for 11 hours. At the end of the training session, the instructor promptly informed everyone that they had to pay $145 for a set of demo knives. I paid the $145. I went home and learned that it was a scam. I went back for a refund. They said no. FML

XD oh god that's gotta be vector, even though it is a scam, one of my friends actually makes money off of it and sells the knives individually for like crazy prices and it all works out for him

Vector is not a scam, people!!! Yes, it's challenging to do direct sales, but I worked for them for a while and got paid the money I deserved weekly. You do have to buy the set you sell, but you get to keep it or sell it when you're finished, so I didn't see it as a loss. Plus, I made more than $145 my first week so it didn't really matter. It's not a job for everyone but it's a legit summer job for students, like they say in the ads.

Give me your email address I have a friend from Nigeria I'd like you to meet.

I concur, my daughter's aunt (no, her mother n I didn't marry) worked for Cutco/Vector for YEARS, making money hand-over-fist for years up in the Santa Rosa area of CA. It's not a scam, it's just REALLY REALLY hard to make money at this sort of thing. I couldn't begin to do this crap. But my pseudo-sister-in-law sure did. To use an adage that's older than anyone applying for this sort of a job - LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP.

Another victim of Vector Marketing!! PWNED!! You are retarded for not researching the company beforehand. YDI

omg i know the vector bullcrap..i went to an interview for that a few years ago and i realized it was a scam in the interview.. ridiculous crap but needless to say they didn't get my money.. be careful with those stupid scammers

If it's cutco knives then it's not a scam. They are the best knives ever.

I'm sure they are great knives, but who they really con are the employees.

You're a tool to think that they're the best knives. LOL Some idiot tried to sell me knives when I already own Global (look it up. :) they are beautiful). His argument was that "Rachel Ray uses Cutco knives...so they must be good!" They ******* suck. Anyone who tells you that they are good knives is another tool who "works" for the company.

How many Infomercial Ab-Crunch Machines do you own?
